Conway Slave Cemetery

Chesterfield, Missouri

Hernando's Bridge

Millstadt, Illinois

Hernando's Bridge one of the more chilling haunted places in Southern Illinois. Today, the bridge is best known for an eerie urban legend about the infamous Saxtown Witch.

Jarrot Mansion

Cahokia Heights, Illinois

Built between 1807 and 1810 by French immigrant Nicholas Jarrot, the mansion is one of the oldest surviving brick buildings in Illinois and a National Historic Landmark.

Martin Boismenue House

Dupo, Illinois

For decades, the house remained a private residence. In 1980, it narrowly escaped demolition when workers removing modern siding discovered the remarkably preserved vertical-log structure underneath.
